DemandTec Adds More Collaboration Capabilities to the DemandTec Network


Service and platform enhancements add powerful shopper insights and extend trading partner collaboration for DemandTec customers

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- DemandTec, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMAN), the collaborative optimization network for retailers and consumer products companies, today announced its latest services release has been deployed across the network and is in use by existing customers. This network update embeds additional shopper insights at the point of decision, enhances promotion planning and management capabilities, and further improves the trade optimization user experience.

Significant enhancements to DemandTec services on the network include:

-- DemandTec Shopper Insights(TM) - This release introduces several new shopper insights including trial and repeat for new items and promotional effectiveness for different shopper segments.
-- DemandTec Total Trade Optimization(TM) - This release introduces a revamped user interface for the Trade Planning & Optimization service to streamline workflow and reduce the time required for creating and analyzing plans.
-- DemandTec Connect(TM) - This release includes platform and infrastructure enhancements to support DemandTec Connect, the set of social messaging and collaboration capabilities for DemandTec customers to stay better informed and more actively collaborate on the DemandTec network.
