Original Press Release:

ACUSTRIP FluidDx 480508 DEF Hydrocarbon Contamination Test

ACUSTRIP Company is pleased to announce a new product to help DEF manufacturers and distributors as well as everyday users mitigate the risk of using unacceptable DEF. The Dip and read tests enables early detection of hydrocarbon contamination.

While the ACU480508 test is part of our FluidDx™ line designed specifically to address the need for DEF testing, these strips are also suitable for testing the presence of hydrocarbons in antifreeze coolant and water. This product is available in Bottles of 50 tests, 12 Bottles per case.

Of particular value is the ease of administering a test. To check for hydrocarbon contamination simply:
- Take a sample (approx. 30ml) of the product to be sampled using a clean syringe
- Place the sample in a clean vial
- Immerse at least 50% of the strip into the sample for 20 seconds.
- Remove the strip (do not shake it). The presence of hydrocarbons causes black spots on the test strips that can be compared to the chart to determine the level of contamination.

The ACU480508 DEF Hydrocarbon Contamination Test is available on the ACUSTRIP web site at www.acustrip.com. For more information, please contact:
