ISSI Announces a 128Mb DDR DRAM for Networking, Consumer and Automotive Applications
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Dec. 13 -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSI), a leader in advanced memory solutions, today introduced their first x32 DDR (double data rate) DRAM, the IS43R32400A, a 128Mb DDR DRAM.
"DDR DRAMs are now part of the low to medium density DRAM space. Expanding our DDR DRAM product offering is part of ISSI's long-term commitment to support a complete range of low to medium DRAMs using leading-edge technology," said Sanjiv Asthana, ISSI vice president of sales and marketing. "The IS43R32400A is our first x32 device in a broad range of DDR DRAMs that ISSI will offer, including a variety of densities, organizations, and temperature ranges targeted for commercial, industrial and automotive applications."
This 2.5V device is organized as 4Mx32, has an 8K refresh, and runs up to 200Mhz, providing data transfer of up to 1.6 gigabytes/sec.
This 128Mb DDR DRAM is used in a variety of high volume applications including networking and telecommunication equipment, HDTV, LCD TV, set-top boxes, hard disk drives, automotive and other consumer applications.
Price and Availability
For quantities of 10,000, the IS43R32400A, in the 144 pin FBGA package with a 0 to 70 degree C operating range, is priced at $4.50. Samples are available now with volume production shipments beginning in Q2/2006.
