Initiative offers VARs and OEMs compact DC-to-DC laptop converters

MINNEAPOLIS, May 14, 2002 - Ault Incorporated (Nasdaq: AULT), a leading North American manufacturer of external power conversion products, today announced its entry into the mobile products market by targeting VARs and OEMs with its new DC-to-DC laptop power converters. Products designed for mobile users will be available August 2002.

VARs and OEMs will be able to introduce the Ault DC-to-DC power supplies to such markets as medical, police/fire and mobile professionals as well as to other markets that call for heavy use of laptops. The company expects its converters to be available for more than 25 laptop models.
