DC-Motor Speed Controller with Dynamic Braking

Electromen driver EM-175 is designed for DC-motor speed control. The driver is unidirectional with braking feature. It regulates the motor voltage and can also be used with non-regulated supply. The load effect on the motor rpm can be reduced by using an adjustable load compensation (RxI). Speed reference value can be set with a voltage signal or by using a potentiometer. Current limit can be set with a voltage signal or by using a trimmer. It limits the motor current (torque) and protects the motor and mechanics in jam situations. Start up speed can be controlled with a ramp, which raises the motor voltage up to the desired speed. The ramp time 0...3 s, is set with a trimmer. Maximum continuous motor current is 10 A.

Supply voltage 12...32 VDC.
