1W DC-DC Converters Offer Flexibility

V-Infinity introduces a new line of isolated, RoHS compliant 1W dc-dc converters featuring a number of options that offer engineers design flexibility. The units are available in SIP, DIP, or SMT packages with efficiencies up to 82% in the 24V output models. The units offer fixed input ranges of 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24V +/-10%. These unregulated, convection-cooled units are designed to convert fixed voltages into isolated voltages, making them suitable for mixed analog/digital circuits, test & measurement equipment, machine controls, and a number of datacom applications. Standard operating temperatures on the units range from -40 to 85 °C.

The new 1W series delivers single output voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, and 24 V; dual bipolar output voltages of +/-5, +/-9, +/-12, and +/-15V; and dual independent outputs of 5, 9, 12, and 15V. The units offer isolation voltage options of 1000V dc, 3000V dc, and 6000V dc, making them suitable for a number of medical applications. OEM pricing starts as low as $1.75 per unit.
