Wall Industries Announces the JF Series of Low Profile DC-DC Converters



Single outputs of 3.3, 5, 12 or 15VDC

Exeter, NH, October 6, 2005 - - Wall Industries, Inc., the preeminent source for standard and customized power solutions, announces the new "JF" series of DC-DC converters. The JF series is an excellent choice for applications such as telecom and other low profile requirements, networking and industrial controls. These converters have input ranges of 18-36VDC or 36-75VDC, and provide single outputs of 3.3, 5, 12 or 15VDC and deliver up to 15 watts of power with efficiencies upwards of 88%.

The feature-packed JF series uses open PCB construction. PC board mounting is accomplished either via thru hole or surface mount. Compact and exhibiting a low profile, the JF series measures 1.10" x 0.94" x 0.335", and delivers the same performance exhibited by larger DC-DC converter packages! Additional features include remote on/off, +/-10% output trim, +/-1% voltage accuracy, 0.2% line load regulation, 2250Vdc input to output isolation, -40°C to +85°C operating range, short circuit protection with auto recovery, output load protection and no minimum load requirements. The MTBF is 8.1 x 105 hours.

The JF series is economically priced at $14.49 in OEM quantities.
