Low Noise, High Efficiency DC-DC Converters

Paterson, NJ – Polytron Devices has launched its new TLB5 series of 5 watt DC-DC converters for telecommunications, measurement equipment, industrial control systems and many other applications. The TLB5 power supplies deliver low noise of 10 mVp-p and 89 percent power supply efficiency in one compact, industry-standard DIP package of 1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40”.


The TLB5 product line comes with a built-in EN55022 Class B filter for reducing electromagnetic interference. In addition, the new TLB5 series delivers overcurrent, short circuit, undervoltage and overvoltage protection, 1600 Vdc input to output isolation and a 4:1 wide input voltage range. This series is also RoHS II and Reach compliant and meets UL60950-1, EN60950-1 and IEC60950-1 safety standards. 

Polytron Devices’ TLB5 series is now available at a price of US$36.00 in quantities of 1000 units. Small quantity orders are available immediately, while larger orders have a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks.
