5SR75.5SN Non-Isolated 5A Output DC/DC Converter
Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. of Concord California announces the 5SR75.5SN non-isolated 5A output DC/DC converter. The 5SR75.5SN is packaged in an industry standard surface mount configuration and offers a user selectable output voltage range between 0.75 and 3.63 VDC. The input voltage range for the unit is 3.0 to 5.5VDC. The 5SR75.5SN, packing up to 15 Watts in a compact 0.8"x0.45" package, is ideal for pcb layouts with limited space. The 5SR75.5SN height is only 0.245".
Even though the 5SR75.5SN is small in size, it offers an abundance of features. The unit offers Remote ON/OFF for energy sensitive applications. Output voltage trim is available to compensate for IR drops due to long lead/trace requirements. The unit also incorporates Input Under-Voltage Lockout. The 5SR75.5SN provides continuous Short Circuit Protection to Common and is backed by Calex's Five Year Warranty.
The 5SR75.5SN Set Point Accuracy is ±2.0% of Vout. Total accuracy is 3.0% of Vout. Load Regulation is 1% from 0 to 1A and 0.5% from 1 to 5A on the output. Line Regulation over the entire input range is 22mV. Output Noise is typically 35mV peak to peak as measured over a 20MHz bandwidth. The 5SR75.5SN Switching Frequency is 300kHz. The Ambient Operating Temperature Range for the SN is -40 to +85C. Mean Time Between Failure is >3M hours. UL60950 and EN60950 are pending.
