Designed to meet power conversion requirements in board-level product applications such as telecommunications, industrial, mobile telecom and test equipment applications ASTRODYNE announces the FEC40 Series. These modular packaged DC/DC converters provide output power of 40 Watts and accept 2:1 wide range inputs from 18 to 75 VDC. Eighteen models offer regulated outputs and are available as single, dual, and triple outputs from 3.3 to 15VDC. All models in the FEC40 Series contain short circuit protection, OVP and On/Off Control function. An internal input filter eliminates the need for the addition of external components and all models are pinout and size compatible to industry standards. In addition, the FEC40 Series provides 1600VDC I/O isolation and will operate over the ambient temperature range of -40 to +50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All units are fully encapsulated in metal cases and have full safety approvals.
