Oracle Data Components provide connected dotnet dataset that uses advanced Oracle database features and allow developers to unleash Oracle power.
Most of .net developers use ADO.NET components for database access. It is suitable for ASP applications, when the main SQL operation is "select". But if you work under multiuser concurrent environment, need to add, delete and modify data in your database, ADO.NET can produce a big pain and inconvenience. This problem can become enormous if you have more that one database user who can modify data at the same time.
