Hudson, MA-Clark is pleased to introduce their new Model MA2590-9 Universal Portable Datalogger. A full featured datalogger with 9 input channels and 100,000 measurement memory (expandable to 25 million measurements), the MA2590-9 datalogger time and date stamps each logged measurement and can apply 6 digit ID tag to each measurement as well. Designed for easy use, MA2590-9 Dataloggers utilize a thumbwheel and 5 buttons to manage all programming and device functions. A large easy-to-read backlit LCD dot matrix display allows for viewing of multiple measured values simultaneously or for graphical displays of measured values.
The MA2590-9 Universal Portable Datalogger uses the patented Almemo connection system. The Almemo connection system features connection plugs which store sensor-specific parameters in non-volatile memory. This feature allows the user to make zero or span calibrations via digital interface directly from the datalogger, and the changes are stored automatically in the sensor's plug and therefore in the sensor itself. A wide variety of sensors are available, including those for pressure, flow, temperature, light intensity, pH, conductivity, gas concentration, humidity, and many other parameters. In addition, inexpensive connection plugs are available for connecting devices with electrical outputs to the MA2590-9. The ability to utilize these inexpensive connection plugs means the MA2590-9 datalogger can be connected to virtually any sensor, making the MA2590-9 a "universal" portable datalogger.
