UEILoggerTM Series High Performance Data Loggers/Recorders
Canton, MA (December 4, 2006) - United Electronic Industries (UEI) is pleased to announce the release of the UEILogger series of data loggers/recorders. The UEILogger offers a unique combination of ruggedness, flexibility, easy-of-use and low cost. Each Logger "Cube" contains the Logger "engine" as well as either 3 (UEILogger 300) or 6 (UEILogger 600) I/O slots. The logger is matched to the user application by installing the appropriate I/O boards. With over 20 different I/O boards available, there's sure to be a configuration to meet almost any application. A single 4" by 4.1" by 5.8" UEILogger cube may provide up 150 A/D channels or 288 digital I/O.
There UEILogger requires absolutely no programming. The logging application is configured using a simple, intuitive, Windows-based application that sets up the logger and extracts data from the logger's memory. The software allows you to set input and output ranges, sample/update rates, signal conditioning, etc. all from simple pull down menus. The data logging "program" may be downloaded via the unit's standard Ethernet port or stored on the SD Card.
The UEILogger supports sample rates up to 100 samples per second on each I/O channel or port. Data is logged onto standard SD Cards (2 Gig SD Card included) and may be retrieved via the unit's Ethernet port or the directly from the SD Card using a standard SD Card reader. The 2 Gig SD Card included will hold over 500 million 16-bit A/D readings.
"In addition to being very flexible and compact, the UEILogger series is extremely rugged" according to UEI President Shaun Miller, "The Cubes have been tested from -40 to +85 °C, and for 50g shock, 5g vibration and altitudes up to 70,000 feet.
