Madison, WI - Gould Instrument Systems, with over six decades of experience in paper based recorders, introduces a new addition to the rugged DAstar family of high performance recorders, the DAstarNET XE, capable of recording up to 416 signals simultaneously in a compact rack 13-slot mainframe. The DAstarNET XE combines a full range of signal conditioning built to withstand industrial environments, plus writer output, real-time display and continuous storage to disk or optional removable drive with simple yet powerful software, all packaged in an unmatched price performance system.
Most DAQ systems offer only limited input ranges of 1 to 10 volts. The DAstar family of amplifiers covers the full range of sensors with programmable inputs from 50 microvolts up to 2500 volts including bridge, thermocouple, accelerometer and frequency inputs. For sophisticated applications virtual channels are available for real-time calculations such as RMS, frequency, integration and differentiation.
The DAstar Summit Software begins displaying signals at start up, with the correct scale and transducer units in a single keystroke. Up to four simultaneous screens show numerics, stripcharts, trends and X/Y displays. Once a recording is made, variable speed playback and review, point-and-click zoom, cursor measurements, search and a waveform calculator are just a few of the many appreciated features. For more complex needs, the touch of one button sends data to ProView or imPRESSion integrated analysis software with custom report generation or save data in over fifteen different file formats.
