Cambridge, MA September 20, 2006 -- Window Book, Inc., the leader in postal mailing and shipping software proudly announced today that Mailing data management software, DAT-MAIL(TM) has been officially certified to interface with EFI Hagen OA(TM).

Window Book and EFI Hagen have joined forces to develop an interface that allows EFI Hagen OA to exchange information with Window Book's DAT-MAIL program. With this interface, EFI Hagen OA users can reap the benefits offered by DAT-MAIL, which sets the industry standard for postal documentation, reporting and accounting management software.

"The new DAT-MAIL/Hagen OA Interface combines Hagen OA's Job Management with DAT-MAIL's Mail Management, resulting in a fully integrated and robust system," said Window Book's CEO, Jeffery Peoples. "The two programs share data via XML, which dramatically decreases the data entry necessary to manage Postage Funds."

As more printers add mailing services to improve profits and provide one-stop shopping to their clients, they must deal with complex postal and IT issues as they expand into mailing. Window Book's DAT-MAIL, interfaced with EFI provides solutions for these needs, and makes Window Book's postal expertise readily available.

DAT-MAIL uses Mail.dat or non-Mail.dat data entry. Mailers gain the ability to update and finalize piece weights and ad percentages, adjust for spoilage, and produce accurate postal forms. Mailers will also profit from better transportation planning and drop shipping, and comprehensive mailing and postage reports for both internal and external customers.
