The New Cylindrical Air Valve Z4912/...
The newly developed air valve Z4912/... has been adapted to the stringent requirements of high-speed moulds following a redesign to the inner structure.
With the new construction, particular focus was given to achieve a stable design and connection of the individual components to guarantee long-term functioning.
The air valve is especially useful for blowing air into the mould and removing vacuum effects during mould opening or ejection.
Installation has also been improved: Simple press fit assembly in a H6-tolerance hole allows rapid and reliable installation into the cavity.
All parts coming into contact with plastic are made of stainless steel, allowing the Z4912/... air valve to be used with aggressive plastics.
The component range covers the conventional sizes of 8, 12 and 16 mm, plus a 6 mm diameter to allow reliable ventilation of small cavity areas and further minimise markings on the part surface.
