New C & G Crossfire Cutting System Offers Exceptional Accuracy, Repeatability



St. Louis -- February 25, 2002 -- The new Crossfire Precision Shape Cutting System, available from C&G Systems, provides accuracy of better than .010 and a repeatability of .002 in an 8' x 8' area, as certified by an independent laser calibration and certification company. Such precision makes the Crossfire more accurate than machines costing twice as much.

Crossfire, available in 6', 8', 10' and 12' widths, delivers speeds of 900 IPM. State-of-the-art AC drives and AC brushless motors provide the power and easy-to-learn integrated PC-based controller provides the sophistication to increase operator efficiency. The Crossfire's controller is swivel-mounted with a 12.1" liquid crystal display touch-screen and clear, bright graphics. Easy to use nesting software is included. The durable Crossfire is engineered to run for more than 100 consecutive hours. The 90# T-rails are flame-hardened for a longer lasting, smooth ride. The cross carriage is enclosed to keep it free of debris and protected from the environment.

Crossfire options include a plasma station collision sensor, wireless communication package, software upgrades and precision plasma. Crossfire can be equipped with up to 5 cutting stations and one marking station.
