Custom Fabricated Insulation
PACOR, Inc., a leading fabricator of insulation products, meets customer specifications for OEM applications. Working with a variety of materials, including asbestos substitutes, mineral wool, fiberglass blankets and boards, foams, Styrofoam® - urethane, expanded polystyrene, and more, PACOR fabricates custom insulation products for the industrial and commercial markets. PACOR products are used in food service machinery, refrigeration and heating equipment, appliances, light commuter rail, and a wide range of other applications.
A recently installed new Schwabe Model BP-150 full head hydraulic press with die shuttle is used in die cutting various forms of insulation. It has both a moveable head and fixed head for maximum flexibility. The new machine has an effective cutting area of 78" W x 39" D with an approximately 75" wide belt. Computer controlled, it has a 250 die memory for recall of stroke setting. With the ability to handle more layers of insulation at a time and reduce change overs by more than 50%, the new machine allows greater productivity which results in faster turnaround time for custom orders.
