Product Applications: Heyco's Custom-Matched Colored Dome Plugs safely and securely close unneeded motor and electrical cabinet chassis holes with a one-piece convex dome plug. These dome plugs can now be specified in a range a virtually limitless range of custom colors or Heyco's nine standard colors for a matching, unified, seamless appearance. This is particularly important where housings and cabinets are visible to building or facility owners, tenants or customers in any application.
Product Description: Heyco Custom-Matched Colored Dome Plugs offer the same impact-resistant convex tapered head design as the company's industry-standard black and white dome plugs. With the newly added feature of a broad range of through-dyed colors, plugs can match or coordinate with the chassis colors in which they are used.
Heyco Custom-Matched Colored Dome Plugs are designed to quickly and easily snap into chassis' up to ¼-inch thick, to form tight secure seals on unneeded openings. Custom-Matched Colored Dome Plugs are available in twenty-seven sizes, to fit openings from 3/16 (4.8mm) to 6-inches (152.4 mm) in diameter.
Construction & Finishes: Heyco Custom-Matched Colored Dome Plugs are molded in Heyco's own state-of-the-art U.S. plant of high-impact Type 6/6 nylon. They conform to ASTM standard D-4066-PA111, have a flammability classification of 94V-2 and can withstand ambient and motor-generated temperatures of up to 125° C.
Heyco uses a color concentrate that is injection molded directly with the nylon to create uniformly "solid," consistently colored parts. Custom-Matched Colored Dome Plugs can be specified in a choice of nine standard "in stock" colors including beige, blue, brown, gray (2 shades), orange, red and yellow. Any custom color can be specified to match a color chip or exact description.
