Thiele Technologies Improves Cushion Caser Reliability

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Feb. 14, 2006 - Thiele Technologies, a leading producer of
cartoning, case packing, bagging and palletizing equipment, announces the introduction of a revolutionary cushion caser system that improves reliability using a servo-controlled cushion drop.

The Thiele Pak Tek (formerly Edmeyer) Cushion Caser for the dairy industry enhances cushion casing with more reliability, more repeatability and much less maintenance. Using Thiele's new "soft-touch" servo-controlled cushion drop, customers are guaranteed to spend more time filling dairy cases and far less time maintaining dairy lines, saving time and money.

The servo motor eliminates higher maintenance air lines, cylinders and filters. It offers far more smoothness and consistency than air controls, eliminating dirty air lines and erratically performing air cylinders. In addition, changeover to corrugated cases or other pack patterns using the Thiele system is much simpler. Simply flick a switch on the servo controls and the system is ready to go.

Benefits include:
o Improved consistency and reliability-guaranteed to enhance efficiency
o Improved accuracy and repeatability-eliminating inconsistency of erratic air controls
o Easy maintenance saves money-no air lines, filters or cylinders to clean or fix
o Quick changeover saves time-change to corrugated cases or new pack patterns with the flick of a switch
