Gel bricks offer the advantage of remaining stable dimensionally once frozen. Bricks are used in packouts with tighter tolerances or narrower allowed space for the refrigerants.
If gel packs are not carefully packed during storage, they will take the shape that they were stored in, often taking up more space than necessary. To address this problem the brick is a refrigerant product line that is widely used in the place of gel packs.
Cryopak's new line of gel brick refrigerants help to reduce space and help you get the most out of your packaging system. It is a cost effective alternative to gel packs. The gel brick is available in 7.5 oz to 30 oz. Custom sizes are available as well.
