High Speed Crimper Available from Finn-Power USA
Schaumburg, IL. The CC22, high-speed crimper is available from Finn-Power USA. The CC22 is suitable for wire, cable, and low-pressure hose assemblies. The CC22 crimps hose sizes up to 1¼" with a crimping force of 68 tons and a crimping range of 54 mm. Very high production speeds can be achieved due to the relatively low swaging force required commonly found in automotive technology, low-pressure water systems, household equipment, and other applications.
Finn-Power's Quick Change Tool option is available with the CC22 upon request. The Quick Change Tool makes die set changes simple - allowing the entire die set to be changed in one, fast and easy operation. Finn-Power's storage rack is also available to store multiple die sets, both custom and standard. The storage rack allows these die sets to be stored in complete sets.
Two control options are available with the CC22. The VS controller is a software controlled processor. Up to 200 combinations of retraction diameters, correction requirements, swaging diameters, and die sets can be stored for immediate availability. The VS controller will automatically recommend a die set from those stored in its tool management memory when the desired swaging diameter is given. The IS controller has a swaging diameter controlled by a 10-turn dial in an operator-friendly control panel and is ideal for serial operations, but it can be used for single piece manufacturing in special cases. The IS offers semi-automatic and automatic operation with increased cycle time which can be achieved by controlling the opening diameter of the swaging operation.
