Cravatex Bags 'Best ERP Implementation' Category at InformationWeek's 'EDGE Awards 2011'

India's leading Sports and Fitness company cited for successful implementation of Sage ACCPAC ERP Version 5.5 Edition 500
Cravatex, a leading sports and fitness company from India representing 'Proline Fitness' and 'FILA', topped the 'Best ERP Implementation' category of InformationWeek's 'EDGE Awards 2011', which was held on September 30, 2011 at INTEROP Mumbai. The company, which imports sport and casual wear and distributes fitness equipment for home and commercial use, was recognized for its adoption and implementation of the Sage ACCPAC ERP version 5.5 edition 500, giving the advantage of expanding their market reach in new geographies as well as expand footprint in existing markets. The adoption of the new system was implemented by Greytrix, the India-based implementation partner of Sage Software, a leading global supplier of ERP and CRM solutions to medium and large organizations.
Cravatex expressed their desire to adopt new innovative tools that can help automate its business process but should also offer key features like ease of use, scalability and adaptability. The company needed a fast and reliable billing solution to reduce customer wait time for its front office operations while its back office needed a complex MIS reporting solution to analyze complex retail analytics, create inventory and financial management reports. Looking to address this requirement, Greytrix suggested the installation of the Sage ACCPAC ERP version 5.5 edition 500, with add-on modules like Greytrix and Document Numbering Series.
The installation also included the set up of a Tally Shopper integration link between Sage ACCPAC ERP and Shopper Point of Sales (POS) terminals. This seamless integration enabled Sage ACCPAC ERP and Tally Shopper 9 to import and export data such as inventory items, bill details and sales orders seamlessly between the staff at the store counter and the procurement manager at the back office, who is required to keep a check on the reorder-stock levels.

For this project, Greytrix developed an end-to-end tight integration between best of breed business tools Tally Shopper POS and Sage ACCPAC ERP to achieve end-to-end suite for Cravatex. Greytrix is a special module developed to meet the need of maintaining data like apparel items, style, color and size for the apparel industry. Seamlessly integrated with Sage ACCPAC ERP, Greytrix helps the garment and shoe merchants to obtain a 360-degree view of their inventory, operations and finance and provide a detailed retail analytics and business intelligence in matrix format. Meanwhile, the Document Series add-on empowered Cravatex to setup a distinct numbering series for each set of transactions.
