AAEON Unveils the Intel® AtomTM-Based COM Express CPU Module-COM-945GSE
Taipei Taiwan (January 13, 2009)--AAEON, a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, announces a brand new COM Express CPU module that adopts the hottest Intel® processor-- the Intel® Atom(TM) N270. With more and more demands for small, low power embedded solutions, the debut of COM-945GSE not only meets the market trend, but also reveals the state-of-the-art technology of the Intel® Atom(TM) processor.
The COM-945GSE offers an onboard Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor and system memory support DDR II SODIMM 400/533, up to 2G. This model features the Intel® 945GSE+ICH7M chipset and Intel® 82574L for Gigabit Ethernet connection. Moreover, both parallel and serial ATA interfaces are featured, giving the user flexible storage options. The COM-945GSE deploys versatile expansion interfaces including three PCI-Express (x1), option for five additional PCI-Express (x1), four 32-bit PCI, as well as LPC, SMBus and I2C. The multitude of expansion interfaces allow system integrators to expand their embedded systems without purchasing extra devices to build up necessary functions.
