Annandale, NJ - December 7, 2006 - Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in productivity solutions, introduces its innovative IQV battery analyzer, as part of the company's launch of the IQV Series cordless tools - the first family of cordless tools specifically engineered for service and industrial professionals.
The IQV battery analyzer is the only device of its kind and interfaces with advanced microprocessor technologies standard within IQV Series lithium-ion and nickel-cadmium batteries. The unit provides users with instant notification of an inserted battery's condition. When connected to a laptop or personal computer via the provided USB cable and CD-based software, the IQV battery analyzer permits users to view and print reports on an IQV Series lithium-ion and nickel-cadmium battery's capacity at last charge, and the total number of charge cycles completed to date.
