ROMER CimCore's NEW 15-foot STINGER II(TM) portable coordinate measuring machine provides the world's largest measuring volume of any articulating arm. This arm was specifically designed for low cost measuring, inspecting or reverse engineering of large work-pieces.
The 15-foot arm will measure to ± .0078 in the single point articulation test. The volumetric length accuracy is ± 0.011 in. with a hard probe and ± 0.013 in. with a laser scanning probe. The STINGER II(TM) is also available with a 6-, 8-, 10- or 12- foot measuring envelope.
