New 'Slimline' Conveyors for Small Parts Handling
CLEVELAND, OH-July 18, 2002-ASG, a division of Jergens, Inc., has announced a new series of conveyors for the automation of small part transfer and load/unload applications. The CSL series is designed to offer "slimline" solutions to system engineering challenges because none of the conveyor's motors extend beyond the width of the conveyor frame. Standard belt lengths between pulleys range from 250 to 2000mm and belt widths are 150 or 200mm.
Custom lengths and speeds are also available, as are units with adjustable inclines or 90° directional change options. Knife-edge designs are available. All conveyors are delivered as a complete package, including motors and drives (AC or DC, fixed or variable speed).
The complete ASG Automation line includes conveyors, slides, grippers, pick & place units, rotary actuators and modular vacuum components.
