Intralox Introduces New Series 2400 Radius Belts with Insert Rollers
The "one line, one belt" radius family becomes even more versatile.
Intralox has added a new modular plastic belt to its Radius Belt family - Series 2400 is now available with Insert Rollers. The addition of rollers to these belts enables them to be used for low back pressure accumulation around turns. Turning ratios of 2.8 and a tight turn of 1.7 are available with insert rollers. This added capability makes Series 2400 even more versatile, and more than ever allows standardization of a line with one belt from one supplier - a single belt that runs straight, makes turns, and accumulates in turns.
The new belts' gray Acetal rollers are located directly on the belt rods. They protrude beyond the top and bottom of the belt, allowing manipulation of product speed to belt speed. Roller diameter is 0.675 inch (17.1 mm), roller length is 0.230 inch (5.8 mm). The wide roller-to-rod contact area reduces wear.
Belts are available in white and gray Polypropylene; and white and blue Acetal. They are built in widths from 6.0 inches (152.09 mm) and wider, in 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) increments. The 2400 belts are 1 inch (25.4 mm) pitch, open hinge, hinge-driven and have approximate 42 %c open area.
Intralox invented modular plastic belt technology and is the world's largest, exclusive modular plastic belt manufacturer. The company has an unmatched 26-year history in industrial and food processing application experience.
