Intralox Introduces New Series 900

Outstanding incline/decline performance plus extended belt life. Intralox has introduced an addition to its Friction Top Belt line-up that combines the outstanding product grip of the Diamond Friction Top surface with the wear resistance of the standard Flat Friction Top. The new Series 900 Square Pattern Friction Top Belt unites the best features of the two surfaces, creating a belt with outstanding incline and decline performance and extended belt life. The new Friction Top belt features black rubber- on grey polypropylene base modules. The rubber material is thermally bonded to the modules, so it will not delaminate. The rubber/polypropylene combination modules provide a high friction surface without interfering with carryways and sprockets. Two versions of the belt are available: the Square Friction Top (SFT), and the Square Friction Top Ultra (SFT Ultra), with higher rubber concentration. The new Series 900 belt is center-driven which means that belt slippage and mistracking are eliminated, along with edge damage. And it is a modular belt, so maintenance is reduced and repairs are quick and easy if they should be required. Minimum belt width is 2.3 inches (58.4 mm) for the Square Friction Top version and 3.0 inches (76.2 mm) for the Square Friction Top Ultra version.
