YET US Announces Release 3.01 XtraDrive Machine Controller for the Machine Automation Market

YET US, Inc., a subsidiary of Yaskawa Eshed Technology (YET), Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel, a world-class supplier of high performance motion controllers for the North American machine automation market, announces the release of XtraDrive software Version 3.01. Utilizing the efficient hardware configuration of the XtraDrive servo drive series, Version 3.01 includes substantially new capabilities allowing Version 3.01 to be implemented on small machine control applications. New features in Version 3.01 include
o Electronic cam profiling (ECAM)
o Virtual master axis option
o Registration interrupt
o Eight priority interrupts
o Command argument specification
o Arithmetic and logic functions
o 10 user variables
o Data logging feature
o Event-driven, high response output
o Expanded auto-tuning feature to include linear motors
o Motion mode changes during servo operations
o Additional alarm functions
As with previous YET servo drives, the XtraDrive Version 3.01 Machine Controller includes the YET patented Non-Linear Control(NCT) algorithm for tight tracking control, auto-tuning and a master encoder interface for master/slave control of small machines. Power ranges are from 30 watts to 3,000 KW, 5KW due later in 2004.
