Raymond® Raytrol-II(TM) Control System Provides Economical Roller Mill/Pulverizer Process Monitoring
The new RAYMOND® Raytrol-II(TM) control system from ALSTOM Power, Inc., Air Preheater Company, Raymond Operations, delivers economical process control, monitoring and data acquisition to optimize mill processes for more efficient operation. The control system can be supplied with new pulverizing systems and is available to update or replace controls on existing Raymond® roller mills, other Raymond® pulverizing systems and competitor's systems.
A multi-loop, highly stable controller, the Raytrol-II control system comes pre-programmed or can be customized to address specific applications. It offers easy to read graphical user interface and trending capabilities. Information generated by the control system is network accessible. Program modifications and upgrades can be provided off-line and downloaded to the controller with minimal disruption of normal mill operations. The controller can be easily and conveniently accessed locally through a panel set up in close proximity to the milling system and/or can be remotely accessed from an interface located in a central control room.
The Raytrol II(TM) control system also features universal inputs and Microsoft Windows-based, human-machine interface (HMI) to provide a familiar and user-friendly environment for quick and easy learning. Other features include 5 analog inputs, 4 analog outputs and 3 PID control loops.
Options available for the Raytrol-II(TM) control system include a 6-point or 12-point paperless recorder which is required for remote diagnosis and additional analog l/O modules. Other options include a Raytrol-OptiMill(TM) control software that optimizes total milling system processes and operation and HMI software for remote access.
