Pre-Engineered Vehicle Air-Suspension Control Panels from Parker Hannifin
RICHLAND, Mich., September 15, 2004 - The new LOAD-TAMER(TM) air-control panel from Parker Hannifin Corp.'s Pneumatic Division is a cost-effective, pre-engineered solution for stabilizing vehicular air-ride suspensions and axle-lift installations.
With LOAD-TAMER, a driver adjusts the operating air pressure and response of a vehicle's air-suspension system to reduce or eliminate fatigue, protect cargo from damage, and minimize wear on tires and other equipment. The system is easily installed on a variety of on/off-road vehicles including highway trucks, trailers, construction vehicles, buses and coaches, and RVs.
LOAD-TAMER panels come in three mounting styles - a plastic housing, L-bracket, or flat plate - for flexibility and ease of installation. Each panel contains an illuminated air-pressure gage, self-relieving knob-operated pressure regulator, and a choice of controls - electrical switch, toggle switch, push-pull, or external pilot for remote control. Push Lock tube fittings make service quick and easy.
Maximum operating air pressure is 160 psig and recommended standard-operating-temperature range is 0 to 120°F (-18 to 49°C); low-temperature-model range is -20 to 120°F (-28 to 49°C). Port sizes, excluding preplumbed ports, are 1/8 and 1/4-in. NPTF.
