Overview
DB2® Content Manager OnDemand for Multiplatforms V7.1.1 is a leading content management solution that provides enterprise report management and electronic statement presentment, helping
organizations to cost effectively manage high volumes of computer
generated output. DB2 Content Manager OnDemand provides fast
and easy access to electronic reports and statements stored in a robust central repository, with streamlined, automatic distribution of selected reports and documents to authorized
users. Through a thin or thick client interface, users can view electronic statements and reports and transform report data into multiple formats to fully integrate and leverage information across their organization and beyond.
DB2 Content Manager OnDemand enables an enterprise to automatically organize and store any printed output, such as reports, statements, or invoices, as well as e-mails and image documents. It provides computer output management for leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications such as PeopleSoft and Siebel. It also offers a platform for implementing leading electronic bill presentment and payment solutions. With DB2 Content Manager OnDemand, authorized users have on demand, electronic access to computer generated documents, bills, invoices, and statements, improving employee productivity and enabling quick response to customer or partner inquiries.
New with DB2 Content Manager OnDemand for Multiplatforms V7.1.1
is a Report Distribution feature that delivers an easy way to
automatically group reports and portions of related reports together, organize them, convert the report data into different formats, and send them through e-mail to multiple users or make them available for printing.
Plus the DB2 Content Manager eClient will now be available with the DB2 Content Manager OnDemand Web Enablement Kit to give users an added choice of clients.
This announcement also clarifies the terms and conditions associated with concurrent users when using the Content Manager OnDemand Web Enablement Kit.
New options are included to provide a trade-up path and price for DB2 Content Manager OnDemand and DB2 Content Manager restricted use licenses included with Business Partner and IBM solutions. For a reduced price, customers may now trade up these licenses to one of the generally available DB2 Content Manager OnDemand and DB2 Content Manager offerings. The upgrade enables customers to take advantage of the full power of all the features, functions, and components of the Content Manager OnDemand and Content Manager offering without usage restrictions
