Popular Connector Line Now Available In Colors
Nine Different Colors for Universal MATE-N-LOK Plugs, Caps and Headers
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Nov. 9, 2006 - Tyco Electronics has added colored plugs, caps and headers to its Universal MATE-N-LOK connector line. Previously, the only color options were white or natural plastics. In total, nine colors are now available including: red, orange, yellow, brown, green, blue, gray, black and white. With the newly introduced color schemes, designers can color-code interconnections within the device they are designing, meet system color-coding protocols, or otherwise improve the visibility, and aesthetics of wiring harnesses and wiring assemblies. The new colored plugs, caps and headers are electrically and mechanically identical to the standard Universal MATE-N-LOK products and carry UL recognition, CSA certification and VDE approvals.
Universal MATE-N-LOK connectors are used in a wide range of general-purpose industrial and commercial electronics and encompass a considerable range of part numbers.
The molded plastic plugs, caps and headers are available in UL 94V-0 or UL 94V-2 material. The entire product line is RoHS compliant and uses standard application tooling.
The broad nature of this product precludes a general pricing statement. Deliveries typically range from 2 to 6 weeks.
