Han® 3 A Hood with Optimised Dimensions
The HARTING connector series Han® 3 A has become a standard for both power and data interface for industrial applications over the last few years. Against this background a growing demand for the use of Patch cables integrated in industrial connectors has been recognised.
With the new Han® 3 A connector Han® 3 A Hood HARTING meets these requirements. The robust metal housing is the perfect solution for use in industrial environments and the compact design in combination with the optimised construction is compatible with new data communication applications in the industrial environment.
Harnesses, e.g. USB, Firewire and RJ 45 interfaces can be integrated into the connector. Compared with the existing standard solution the height of the connector is reduced by about 25 %. Another advantage is the integrated cable gland that will reduce inventory. The new solution features a wide clamping range for cable diameters from 5 mm -13 mm.
