St. Paul, MN-March 7, 2003-FasTest, Inc. has introduced a series of TwistMate® Adapter Kits to facilitate connection of different sized male and female NPT threads with TwistMate test connectors and plugs. TwistMate connectors and plugs are used to quickly connect or seal threaded ports for leak-free testing, filling, plugging, calibrating or venting applications. The company is also providing a free chart designed to let users quickly identify the correct adapter kit for their application.
TwistMate connectors are much easier and efficient to use because the connectors finger tighten and seal automatically when a system is pressurized, without the use of tools, sealant or tape. Available from 1/8" to 3" male and female NPT threads, TwistMate connectors provide quick connection and disconnection for applications up to 3,600 psi. The TwistMate adapter kits are designed to bridge different sized internal and external threads in any size combination between 1/8" and 1". Along with standard female/male connecting, kits are also available to connect female-to-female and male-to-male.
