Quick Locking M12 Connection System
Harrisburg, Pa. - With the new SPEEDCON connection system from Phoenix Contact, a simple "1/2 turn" makes a secure, watertight and vibration-proof connection between cordsets and devices. Compatible with all standard M12 connectors on the market, SPEEDCON reduces the time it takes to connect an M12 threaded plug connector by up to 90%. No special adapters are required making SPEEDCON backwards, forwards, and future compatible.
SPEEDCON plug connectors fulfill the same requirements for electrical and mechanical properties as the classic M12 plug connector systems. The product range offered includes IP65 and IP67 cordsets, field wireable, panel mount connectors, and sensor-actuator boxes. The SPEEDCON technology is also integrated in the company's Fieldline modular I/O system, providing a comprehensive array of fieldbus modules for Profibus, CANopen, Devicenet and Interbus protocols.
