COMPRION and MONETECH Offer New NFC Test Consulting Service

Paderborn, Germany & Gémenos, France - The leading test equipment provider COMPRION and the French NFC consulting specialist MONETECH have joined their expertise to provide French customers with high-tech contactless test tools and a consulting service for debugging and diagnosing errors in NFC communication.
Testing NFC services is complex because of the multiplicity of NFC technology and the combination of different components such as servers, mobile phones, smart cards and RF readers. However, testing is absolutely essential as the services will be offered to end-users. Therefore, the new test service includes an on-site consulting session by an expert from COMPRION or from MONETECH, using the well-established COMPRION monitoring tools which already help the leading handset and chip manufacturers,
card vendors and network operators to identify and solve communication problems.
The service includes a session of on-site debugging, checking and validating of the customer's solution by spying incoming and outgoing application-related communication with means to verify data flows, accurate timing performances and signal waveforms. At the end, a test session report is provided to the customer.
With the contactless spy tool CLT Move, it is possible to analyse the NFC communication [ISO/IEC 14443 (A/B), ISO/IEC 18092 (passive mode), proprietary contactless protocols B', MIFARE and FeliCa] between different contactless devices. If desired, the CLT Move can also be synchronised with Move 2, COMPRION's trace tool for contact-based ISO/IEC 7816, SWP/HCI and IC-USB communication. Separate and synchronised views (physical, protocol and application layers) give an in-depth display of the communication for each protocol.
