Compressed Air Dryer Lowers Operating Cost


Wittmann has completely redesigned their DryMax P15 portable compressed air dryers offering a maximum throughput of up to 22 lbs./hr. (10 kg/h) and suited to all types of resins. The new design is 40% lighter than the previous version - 19 kg (42 lbs.) - and features a "Clip-On" locking mechanism and carrying handle for easier removal and mounting when transferring the unit from one hopper to another. The improved control system uses the well known and intuitive Wittmann operator interface for simple operation. The dryer operates with plant-wide, pre-dried compressed air and can be easily programmed to run in batch mode or continuous drying for applications with steady material consumption.

The dryer has the unique ability to operate with either a dry air capacity of 5 or 10 CFM (7 or 15 m³/h) by a simple selection on the operator interface. It is therefore ideally suited for small material throughputs in order to reduce the required supply of expensive compressed air and thereby minimize the high operating costs associated with compressed air dryers.

The Drymax P15 compressed air dryer can be equipped with 20, 30 and 50 litre stainless steel drying hoppers depending on the specific drying requirements. A hinged cover allows for easy maintenance and cleaning of the drying hoppers. The drying hoppers are designed for quick, easy mounting and material conveying with Wittmann's FeedMax SP5 compressed air loaders.
