Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner and independent software vendor Compass Technology (compass.net) will be presenting the next generation in fundraising software for nonprofits at the Microsoft Partner Solutions Theater during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Denver, Colorado, July 10-12, 2007.

Chesapeake, VA June 28, 2007-- Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner and independent software vendor Compass Technology will be presenting the next generation in fundraising software for nonprofits at the Microsoft Partner Solutions Theater during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Denver, Colorado, July 10-12, 2007. Among the twenty other Microsoft partners from around the world that will be participating in this theater presentation, only Compass Technology (Compass) will focus on nonprofit organizations.

Nonprofit technology and software pioneer Jeff Shy will lead the presentation of Compass CRM(TM) for Fundraisers (Compass CRM) and offer expert insight into how Compass has built an incomparable solution for nonprofits that is based on Microsoft Dynamics(TM) CRM. With over thirty-six years of experience in developing nonprofit fundraising software solutions, Mr. Shy recently joined Compass as vice president of product management and looks forward to speaking about the specialized fundraising software that Compass offers.

The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference is an opportunity for partners of many industries and sizes to network with each other about software, clients, and the general market. Compass is actively seeking other Microsoft certified partners who are well-versed in the nonprofit industry to join the Compass Channel Partner Program (Partner Program). Compass Partner Program manager Susan Turner is spearheading the outreach and recruitment and is looking forward to opening the doors to the international Microsoft community. Turner explains, "Our goal is to selectively develop an elite group of Microsoft partners that currently serve the nonprofit sector. These carefully selected partners must know the unique needs of nonprofit organizations and have expertise in fundraising and donor management. We are looking for resellers that know the space, have a true sense of partnership, and want to take our next generation fundraising software to market."

Built on industry-leading Microsoft tools and technologies, this next generation nonprofit software consists of Compass CRM, Compass Analytics(TM) for Fundraisers, and Compass Personalized Marketing(TM) for Fundraisers. "Partners will have a fully scalable product offering that not only meets customer needs, but also allows partners to leverage their other Microsoft products," Turner continues. "Participating in the Compass Partner Program gives Microsoft partners the opportunity to compete with Sage and Blackbaud for fundraising and financial management business in the nonprofit sector."

Recently signed Compass partners have a high regard for Compass's fundraising software solution. "The next generation fundraising solution from Compass Technology leverages Microsoft CRM and Exchange," states Ivan Cole, President of Cole Systems. "For too long, our nonprofit clients have struggled to get their fundraising solutions to work with e-mail and financial systems. Compass Technology delivers a platform that provides easy integration." The software suite is designed to help nonprofits manage and grow donor relationships, increase fundraising results, and operate more efficiently.

Ken Farmer, Practice Manager for Collins Computing, adds, "Compass has developed a highly customized and powerful fundraising system using Dynamics CRM as the core. It's very sophisticated and well beyond anything we've seen in the fundraising space. It will allow our customers to leverage their current Microsoft systems, like Outlook and SharePoint. Our customers feel very confident that this is the answer they've been looking for when it comes to CRM for fundraising."

Compass trains partners in sales, consulting, and implementation in order to elevate customer satisfaction and enhance profitability for clients and partners. Partners also receive premium support and recommendations from Compass customer service and marketing, thereby advancing partner agreements. Farmer continues, "We are excited to be a part of this program and take this product to our nonprofit customers."
