BULBRITE Introduces Energy Star-Approved, Dark Sky-Friendly Lamping Featuring Energy Efficient Compact Fluorescents
MOONACHIE, NEW JERSEY - To further develop Green lighting solutions to help preserve the environment, BULBRITE introduces Dark Sky Friendly bulbs to its extensive line of energy efficient compact fluorescents. BULBRITE is a leading supplier of innovative, energy-efficient light source solutions and the premier educational resource for lamping technology.
Ideal for residential outdoor lighting applications, BULBRITE offers lamping approved by the IDA (International Dark Sky Association), which reduces glare, prevents light trespass and directs beams only to the appropriate space. The Dark Sky Friendly lamping helps preserve the environment and minimizes light pollution.
The Dark Sky Friendly family offers two styles that are 15-watts and operate on a 120-volt system. The first style has a Universal medium base with an Adjustable 180-degree Shield and the second style offers a Base-Up version. The bulbs have a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 82 and they produce 900 lumens. Both lamps have a life of 8,000 hours. With a 2800-degree Kelvin color temperature, both have a minimum starting temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
