Whitney Blake Company Offers Rugged, High Performance, Communication Cords For Military Use


Bellows Falls, Vt.- Whitney Blake Company, the leader in interconnect solutions, now offers its fully connectorized communication cords for use in harsh environments including military applications. The new cords are manufactured with a Polyurethane jacket and come pre-assembled with all appropriate contacts and connectors for assembly into a headset or communication device.

Whitney Blake's communication cords, consisting of the H-189, H-250, and H-350 style handset cords and CVC headset "lower" cords, can be used in headsets, radio telephone handsets and other communication equipment, such as vehicle intercom systems and tactical radio systems. The "lower" cord attaches to the headset of the crewperson and extends the range of motion available as well as allows simultaneous connection to both tactical and vehicle intercommunication networks. In case of emergency the "lower" communication cords feature quick-disconnects allowing the crewperson to evacuate the vehicle quickly.
