Combination Starters Feature Modular Building Block Design



A series of self-protected Type E and Type F combination starters for use as individually enclosed combination starters, in motor control center units, control panel assemblies, and group motor applications has been introduced by Moeller Electric Corporation of Franklin, Massachusetts.

Moeller Type E and Type F Combination Starters are rated for motors up to 42 A and 30 HP @ 460 V, with high fault ratings up to 65 kA @ 480 V, depending upon configuration. Modules include a self-protected stand-alone Type E starter and a magnetic contactor module that can be combined to create a remotely operated Type F starter.

Designed to fit into a variety of environments, these modular, DIN rail-mountable Moeller Type E and Type F Combination Starters are UL/CSA/CE compliant and include a manual self-protected Type E starter which can also accept a line side terminal clearance accessory for use with group rated devices. Also available are reversing starters and accessories such as auxiliary contacts and shunt trips.
