Colubris Joins PCI Security Standards Council; Helps Organizations Defend Against Consumer Identity Theft

PCI is an important standard for organizations that execute payment card transactions, such as the hospitality, transportation and retail industries. They require a wireless network solution that enables them to accept card data without exposing private customer information to theft by cyber-criminals.
The Colubris solution eliminates compromises between performance and security that are inherent in competing WLAN systems. It uses the Colubris MAP-330 and MAP-630 Integrated Sensor/AP, which feature a dedicated 802.11 a/b/g radio for continuous security scanning on the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands, while additional 802.11 a/b/g radios provide full performance client access. Only this innovative multi-radio solution provides the performance and quality of service required for voice, video surveillance and other real- time wireless applications, plus the security of continuous monitoring.
