Thomas & Betts Colored Ty-Rap? Cable Ties Now Available in Multi-Pack for Savings and Convenience



MEMPHIS, Tenn. - May 31, 2005 - Thomas & Betts announces the availability of colored Ty-Rap? cable ties in a new, convenient, 100-piece package that contains 10 each of the available 10 colors. This new multi-pack is offered in response to customer interest in smaller package quantities of colored cable ties. It is ideal for use by contractors when they need only a few cable ties of a specific color to match equipment or to identify circuits. The benefit of the new multi-pack is that contractors no longer need to order large quantities to get the colors they need for certain projects.

Colored Ty-Rap cable ties are manufactured in the United States by Thomas & Betts, the originator of the cable tie in 1958. The 10 colors included in the package are black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, grey and white. Specifications for the Ty-Rap cable ties in this new package are 7.31 in. length, 6/6 Nylon construction and have a 50-lb tensile strength. Ty-Rap cable ties are UL listed and CE approved.
