LEXINGTON, KY (June 7, 2005) - Lexair, Inc. introduces its new 1C Mini-Collet Closer, the smallest the company has ever produced, which is designed specially for miniature workholding applications. Rounding out Lexair's complete line of precision air and hydraulic collet workholding systems, the 1C collet closer is 1½" square with a ¼" diameter capacity and features fixed length collet clamping. The economically-priced 1C can be used as a single unit or in multiple configurations either horizontally or vertically, and can be activated by air or hydraulic pressure if more clamping is needed.
