Lyndex's New High-Speed LSK(TM) Collet Chucks
Mundelein, IL (April 29, 2003)- Lyndex's new narrow-bodied High-Speed LSK(TM) Collet Chucks provide excellent accuracy at high-speed for today's most demanding applications. All external surfaces are finish ground, and the holders are pre-balanced for high-speed applications up to 40,000RPM.
The LSK's(TM) use of a smaller taper (8 degrees) results in improved concentricity, greater rigidity and more powerful gripping torque. Run-out accuracy is held to within 3µm at 4 times the diameter of the cutting tool (when using Lyndex's LSK-P high precision collet). Tools up from 0.027" up to 1" in diameter can easily be accommodated with this new, affordably priced collet system. Lyndex's new LSK(TM) coolant delivery system options allows for coolant through the tool or along the exterior of the cutting tool.
The High-Speed LSK(TM) is also available in Lyndex's patented HSBalance(TM) balanceable system. HSBalance(TM) toolholders come pre-balanced and can be easily re-balanced to fine tune the cutting tool / toolholder assembly to the tightest specifications.
