LINPAC Materials Handling Adds New 56 Inch x 48 Inch Size to Line of ROPAK(TM) Extended Length Containers
GEORGETOWN, KY (October 19, 2004) - LINPAC Materials Handling introduces a new size footprint to its line of ROPAK(TM) Extended Length reusable, collapsible containers. The ROPAK 56" Extended Length features a 56" x 48" footprint to accommodate long and hard-to-fit component parts, making it ideal for use in a variety of industries, including: appliance, automotive, furniture, HVAC, metal stampings, and textiles. Constructed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the container offers 2000 lb. (907 kg.) capacity and is available in four heights: 25", 33", 34", and 42".
"We've offered our customers larger Extended Length containers for several years, including a 64.5" x 48" footprint, and a 70" x 48" footprint," says Todd Turner, senior product engineer at LINPAC Materials Handling. "This new container was created both to meet the needs of several customers who specifically requested this size, as well as to add more options to our Extended Length product family."
The 56" Extended Length container features four-way fork entry and a variety of sidewall configurations, with 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 hinged drop doors available to allow users easy access to contents. This container model also incorporates improved hinges and latches for easier use and greater durability.
When empty, the 56" Extended Length containers collapse to a fraction of their height for compact storage and shipping. Further, they can be stacked up to 6-high without racking either upright or collapsed.
The 56" Extended Length container is RFID-ready and, as with all LINPAC Materials Handling products, its workmanship and materials are guaranteed with a three-year warranty.
