New Automatic Coil Winding Machinery for Transformers, Chokes and Ballasts
Bridgeport, CT Alpha-Core, Inc. has signed an agreement with GuangRi Electronic Machine Company of Guang Dong, China to be its exclusive North American distributor for GuangRi's entire line of toroidal coil winding equipment. The line includes slider head, belt head and gear head machines to wind magnetics ranging from tiny inductors and current sensors to power transformers up to 5,000 VA. A separate machine does tape insulation. Each model is equipped with computer memory for programming number of turns, wire size and other data to ensure consistent high-quality winding performance. The price of each model is $7,500, F.O.B Bridgeport, Conn. with a 12-month warranty for parts and labor. Alpha-Core will maintain a complete inventory of accessories and spare parts in its Bridgeport facility for quick turn-around time. The machines will be demonstrated at the Coil Winding Show in Cincinnati in October 2002. Limited quantity is available from stock in Bridgeport, Conn. Factory lead time is six weeks ARO.
