Coating Thickness Gauges suit laboratory and field use.

Press Release Summary:

Series 3000 provides non-destructive coating measurements on steel and non-ferrous metals. Probe construction minimizes contact pressure, preventing scratch and indentation damage to polished and sensitive surfaces. Units provide infrared or serial data transfer and statistics. Each has measuring range of 0.1-60.0 mils, provides measurements in user-selected mils or microns, and offers driftless calibration. Model 3000PRO-F10 measures coatings up to 400 mils thick.

Industry-Leading Precision, Simple Operation and Rugged Construction Make 3000 Series Coating Thickness Gauges Ideal for Laboratory and Field Use

CheckoLine's new 3000 Series Coating Thickness Gauges provide fast, non-destructive and exceptionally precise coating measurements on steel and non-ferrous metals. Available in different configurations to accommodate a wide range of laboratory and field applications and manufactured to world famous German quality standards, 3000 Series Gauges will provide years of trouble-free use.

Menu-driven operation (user can select English, Spanish or French for all menus) and clear, easy-to read display screens make 3000 Series gauges simple to operate. Their innovative probe construction minimizes contact pressure preventing scratch and indentation damage to highly polished and sensitive surfaces. All models provide infra-red or serial (3000PRO) data transfer and statistics.

Each 3000 Series configuration is available in ferrous only, non-ferrous only, and a combination model that measures on both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. Each has a measuring range of 0.1-60.0 mils (1-1500 µm), provides measurements in user-selected mils or microns and offers long-lasting driftless calibration. For thicker coatings, the 3000PRO-F10 measures coatings up to 400 mils (10mm) thick.

3000 Series configurations:

The palm-sized, 3000PS with integrated probe combines precision and repeatability with the ultimate in portability.
The 3000FX features a separate probe, permitting measurements in difficult to access areas. The screw off probe footer exposes a "micro-probe" design, which permits measurements on super small surfaces such as screw heads and shanks, bolts and other fasteners.

The 3000PRO builds upon the capabilities of the 3000FX, It adds datalogging capability for 10,000 readings, a Continuous Measurement Mode for online use and many other advanced features.

3000 Series gauges are supplied as a complete kit, including the gauge and probe, zero standards, calibration foils, battery, soft carrying pouch, instruction manual and plastic carrying case (3000PRO model).
